Interested in Joining BC Club Field Hockey?
The Boston College Club Field Hockey team competes in the Northeast Division of the National Field Hockey League. During the fall season, the team practices for 2 hours, 2 or 3 times per week (usually Monday and Wednesday 7-9pm). Competition during the fall season includes several matches against local teams, 1 divisional tournament, and 1 invitational tournament. During the off-season in the spring, the team usually participates in an invitational tournament and local scrimmages.
Boston College Club Field Hockey is a competitive, student-run program. Our team welcomes players (females and males) of all levels and backgrounds. No experience is necessary, although strong field hockey skills are recommended for tryouts. Tryout dates are typically held during the second or third week of September. Fliers will be put up around campus at that time.
